Welcome to Education Cents – Free Financial Literacy Program by College Invest Colorado

Education Cents was created by CollegeInvest, a not-for-profit division of the Colorado Department of Higher Education. Our goal is to help you understand financial matters to provide the tools you need to help finance your and your family’s higher education.

Who Are We?

Education Cents offers a login-enabled, interactive website with a self-paced curriculum accompanied by presentations and a printed guide.

Our financial literacy curriculum is presented in units. You can choose which topics are most important or interesting to you. Or, based on your answers to our pre-test, we’ll recommend which units you should begin first. Although you can continue as a guest, when you register your work is saved and your experience is personalized.

Partnership

We understand that many other not-for-profit organizations have special expertise in financial literacy. Our curriculum and tools are complementary to their exceptional contributions and will be offered collaboratively. Partnering with other expert organizations by sharing materials, access, and users to the greater benefit of Colorado families is a principal value for this program.
